After writing many songs together and gigging small venues in London with various different line-ups, it all came together in the summer of 2002, when Ryan�s brother Sam joined the band on keyboards. That same summer, Sam persuaded his best friend Lanfranco, who also attended the same school, to join the band on bass. Lan�s first rehearsal was also the first time the band played with drummer Dan Fossard, who had responded to an advert placed by the band. Dan had been living in London only a year after moving down from Blackburn.

This rehearsal was where M.O.T. really begun. With two brothers, two sets of best friends all from Seven Sisters, and a drummer who has more enthusiasm than all of them put together, they now had a tighter unit than ever.

As all five members have full time day jobs, the majority of their spare time and money is taken up rehearsing and recording demos. When doing neither of these, the chances are they�ll be playing a gig somewhere in London.

This is real music from an honest band that has developed a distinctive sound which comes from a wide range of influences. They�re hard working and have built a decent following and are now waiting for someone to give them the chance to prove themselves.
